Had a Weird Day is a comedy graphic novel where ordinary people stumble into paranormal situations that are funny, bizarre, sometimes spooky, and surprisingly heartfelt. Ten interconnected stories blend slice-of-life, supernatural comedy, and surreal fantasy into a single weird, unforgettable ride.
1. Astral – Part I
This framing story serves as both the prologue and epilogue of the book. Two friends travel to China, where one suffers a minor accident and ends up in the hospital. During his recovery, he begins reading a book of short stories that profoundly changes the way he sees reality.
2. Love at Buckstar
A teenage girl eagerly starts her first serious job at a downtown café popular among celebrities and artists. However, she soon discovers that the reality of the workplace is far from her expectations, leading to the revelation of family secrets and hidden pasts.
3. Pesanta
A university student can no longer sleep, and both she and her roommate become desperate to find the cause. Their search eventually uncovers truths that might have been better left undiscovered.
4. Ragnarök
A magic show. A second-rate magician. A young girl determined to uncover the secret behind every trick. What could possibly go wrong? Maybe the end of the world.
5. Viral Encounters
A group of struggling influencers gets lost in an enchanted European forest. To make matters worse, they have no cell service.
6. Happy Together
A young lesbian couple moves into a new home: old, spacious… and surprisingly affordable. Suspiciously affordable.
7. Breakup from Outer Space
When a relationship ends, it can feel like a part of you dies. But sometimes a UFO might appear to comfort you—and help you move on.
8. Shadow
The perfect singer. The perfect actor. The perfect model. The perfect celebrity. After dying in an accident, neither his soul nor his body can find peace. Worse still, they can’t stand each other.
9. Salvation
An elderly man dies alone in a hospital. As he prepares to cross into the afterlife, he decides to give himself one last chance to make things right with his son. Better late than never… although sometimes, late isn’t good enough.
10. Astral – Part II
After days in the hospital and finishing the mysterious book, the protagonist’s grip on reality begins to unravel, leading to a metaphysical meltdown that brings all the stories together.
Animated Trailers
